I accidentally stored extra containers of my baby’s formula in a cabinet locked with other chometz items. Am I permitted to open the cabinet to just take out the formula?
You can open the cabinet and take the formula as long as you didn’t sell it.

What does that mean? I just sold whatever “chametz” I had in the house but didn’t indicate which closets. I had taken something that was Kp out of a closet that had other chametZ items because I forgot it in that closet. Please advise what to do now.

Usually only Chametz is sold. Occasionally people will sell the contents of a certain cabinet, closet…
