Are all canned beetroot, ingredients salt, acid kosher? Do I have to take into account the reused steam in the manufacture process from non-Kosher food as a source of ta’am issur?
If the ingredients are as you say. Beets. Salt. Water. It’s ok. As to acid it’s unclear which so I would need more info.
As to the steam. No problem.
Don’t have any particular item in mind. I was working out supposed the problem of steam in the manufacturing process and concluded as you did that it isn’t a problem.
The acid I haven’t given thought to, which ones would you avoid?
There are some that are derived from an animal source. It all depends on where they are listed in the ingredients.
