Condiments and spices

Hi Rabbi.

  1. If liquid/solid condiments (or spices or similar) that are ‘pareve’ are poured onto dairy solid/liquid do the condiments remain pareve, even if the dairy item is hot? (Same question if the item being poured onto is ‘meat’ instead of ‘dairy’.)
  2. If the liquid/solid condiments (or spices or similar) remain pareve in case #1, is this true even if poured onto hot dairy food/liquid where the hot dairy item is in a pan (or pot or similar) that is on the ‘fire’? (Same question if the item being poured onto is ‘meat’ instead of ‘dairy’.)

Thank you Rabbi.

I am probably not understanding your question, but if the pareve condiments are poured on a food (regardless of its status) how do they not take on the status of the food? After all they are mixed.
Unless you are asking about the condiments that remain in the bottle and you are asking about some transference from the heat back to the food?
