Fruit Wines

Hello and thank you for all you do.

I travel to Vermont often and there is a winery there that makes wines only out of 100% fruit, but never grapes. The fruits they use are all local (pear, apple, black currant, strawberry, blueberry and rhubarb) and the only other ingredient they will sometimes add is 100% pure Maple Syrup in an apply/maple wine. I have spoken with the wine makers on several occasions and they assure me that these are the only ingredients they use. Are we able to purchase and consume these types of fruit wines from this type of company?

All the best,
Aric

If they advertise that or if the bottle states that it is wine from these other fruits, then they’re fine.

Great, thanks! They do list the fruits from which these wines are made. I’m going to have a nice l’chaim tomorrow.
