Hard Apple Cider Made W/ White Wine Yeast

Recently I went to the Catskills and stopped by a cidery on the side of the road in which they take freshly squeezed apple juice and ferment it with white wine yeast to make it alcoholic- is the white wine a problem of stam yeinam and davar hamamid?

The white wine is a problem of Stam Yeinam. (At least a Safek. Depending on the exact product used, maybe it has a Mevushal status)

I’m not sure if it has a problem maamid because the fresh apples can ferment naturally without the wine. So it may be זה וזה גורם.

Vinegar is a problem. The yeast may not be a problem. Needs more research.
