Just out of curiosity, I apologize for bother, and I am in no way challenging your psak; just curious:
Is Miralax most certainly not a derivative of the five grains?
( Or given that it is not ראוי לאכילת אדם/ ‘medicinal substance’ it is permissible? Or perhaps it is both not a derivative of five grains and moreover medicinal??)
