Kosher Crops has the Star-K and CRC certification and some of their products say that every leaf is checked. I don’t know why some packages don’t say that every leaf is checked.
Can we eat these greens and herbs?
I reached out to Kosher Crops and here is their response. We cannot rely on this process to approve this brand. We will try to do some more research but for now we cannot approve this brand.
This is interesting. On their website they state that they don’t rely on triple washing or other leniencies and instead check every leaf after washing.
And how can they advertise every leaf checked if that is not what they are actually doing? The most they can claim is that they wash every leaf, not check.
