Possibly treif ceramic bowls

I bought two glazed ceramic bowls from a thrift shop, so I’m assuming they were used for treif. Do they require tevilah and hagalah? In addition, i noticed one of the bowls has a chip on the outer rim, not where food would go but close enough to accidentally touch. It also has several small unglazed scratches inside the bowl about a millimeter or so long. Can it still be used? Thanks for your time.

Assuming these bowls were used for serving food and not heating food, they don’t need kashering. You didn’t mention what the pot is made of. If it’s metal base, it needs tevila

These are ceramic cereal bowls. Would I be able to use the bowl with the chip and scratches as mentioned above in my question?

yes
