I know that this is rushing the season a bit, but the current CDC warnings about e-coli in Romaine lettuce, combined with the fact that this is a frequent occurrence, has me concerned about maror. I read once that Rav Aharon allowed ANY lettuce for maror. What is the Rav’s view?
You can use another lettuce. By then you’ll be able to use Romaine anyway. Belgian endives are an easy to clean option.
