Water cooler on Pesach

The water cooler at my work is used all year round and the hot water is used on top of chametz (steam of chametz ) like when people make hot cereal etc.

  1. Can I use the cold water on Pesach?
  2. Can I use the hot water on Pesach ?

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘like when people make hot cereal etc’. Are they bringing hot cereal to the water cooler or they’re using the hot water from the cooler to make the hot cereal.

People place their bowls under the spot and push down on the spout so the hot water flows from spout directly into their bowls of potential chametz (like tradition soups, cream of wheat etc )

Then you can use for hot or cold. Obviously make sure the spot is clean

Then that steam is from a kli sheni.

So even though steam from chametz food in bowl hits spout, if spout is clean I can use it on Pesach ? (Since no one is careful - it’s still okay even if hypothetically hot chametz touched the spout during the year ?)

Yes because the steam isn’t from a pot. It’s from a cup that hot water was poured into it.
(Yes as long as it’s clean)
