Zinc lozenges with stearic acid

Zinc lozenges are used to shorten the duration of a cold, but they have flavor. Are these ones from windmill vitamins kosher?

Here’s the full list of "Other Ingredients:: Sweetener blend (sucrose, sorbitol, fructose), stearic acid, medium chain triglycerides, silica, natural flavors, magnesium stearate, citric acid, malic acid and beet juice (for color).

Kosher.

Thanks. Is that since stearic acid is not considered a food?
