Adult bar mitzvah

My wife and I never had our bar/bat Mitzvah. Is there any rules against having it later in life?

Hi,

A bar mitzvah is a celebration of a boy turning 13 years old and becoming an adult in the Torah. This happens whether or not a celebration takes place when they turn 13 years old.

So to answer your question, you and your wife became bar/bat mitzvah when you turned of age. You only didn’t celebrate the occasion at the time. Celebrating the occasion today is not required nor necessary.
