Do a door alarms/sensors need to be bypassed on Shabbat?
I used to turn off the chime until I realized it was a superficial workaround – the alarm still reports an immediate (silent) signal change.
Not a problem. Leave it alone and go about your business.

What is the alarm does make a sound when you go in and out?
