About six months ago, a controversy arose about Barkan wines. The local Rabbanut allowed them to employ Ethiopians, who apparently had not undergone giyyur L’humra. They then took the hechsher of Eidah HaChareidit, that required them to not allow the Ethiopians to come in contact with the wine at “sensitive” points. A media outcry of racism, made the company put the Ethiopians back in their positions. Does the Rav have a ruling on the status of these wines?

Please provide some more details and facts. We are unaware of all the details at the moment.
This is not quite true. All Ethiopian Jews (besides Falshmura, who are fully converted upon arrival), recieve a giyur lechumra. The Eidah was asking for another conversion in addition to the giyur lechumra the Ethiopian Jewish workers had already received. The Ediah says this clearly in a statment they wrote here.
