Bishul on Shabbos : croutons in hot soup?


Is there a problem putting croutons into a kli-shaini soup on Shabbos?

Popular croutons such as Osem are made of wheat flour which is baked.



Not a problem

  1. Does it make a difference if the croutons were fried?

  2. Are croutons considered to be Kalai bishul (easy to cook)?

Since its a Kli Sheini it is not mevashel so it’s not an issue.
