Buffalo trace distillery

Rabbi,
I have read that Buffalo Tracy whiskey, that comes from the Buffalo Trace Distillery, may have a kosher issue year round due to the owner being Jewish and not selling their Hametz on Passover.

Do you have any information on this that you are able to share or can we only buy the “kosher” line approved by the CRC?

I don’t know the specifics about this brand. Either way, this wouldn’t be included in the penalty of Chametz that wasn’t sold over Pesach.
