Is the costco acai bowl kosher?
The acai juice has an OU but they say they add a powder to it that doesn’t have a hechsher . I wasn’t able to get the ingredients of the powder. I believe the powder is to thicken the acai juice to a ice cream like form

Keep in mind that reading ingredients alone only applies to prepackaged products. Local stores where products aren’t prepackaged such as ice cream stores can’t be relied solely on ingredients. You must know what is going on in the store as well.
Ingredients reading is about the FDA regulations and therefore companies are very careful to comply. Local stores don’t fall into the same regulations.
Online it seems to show strawberries and other fruit are added to the Acai Bowl which would be a problem of bugs.
