Do I have to get out of bed in middle of night to wash my hands so I can make a bracha on Lightning and Thunder

Knowing that more thunder and lighting is more than likely to happen, withing seconds or minutes, DO I HAVE TO GET OUT OF BED TO WASH MY HANDS so that I can make the bracha on the next round of Thunder and Lightning. Even though I cannot tell for sure it will occur.
