Does honey from around the world (eg. Manuka from New Zealand, etc) require kosher certification?
100% pure honey is kosher and does not need any hechsher when available for sale in the US. This would apply to New Zealand as well as any country that has a similar concept to the FDA that we have here. I can not speak to the far flung outpost of the world.
