Does non-kosher grease residue affect kashrut status?

I had just packed away my flatmate’s non-kosher food before preparing my own dinner.

Without thinking, I checked my kosher water boiler, and accidentally touched the inside of the metal cover while it was hot and wet. I realized belatedly that my hand had some residue from the non-kosher food (not visible, but I could smell it.) The water in the boiler had just finished boiling and the boiler had turned off.

Is the kashrut status of my boiler affected? If so, how do I kasher it?

It looks something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Zojirushi-CD-WHC40XH-Boiler-Warmer-Stainless/dp/B07CB98837/ref=bmx_2/141-6597174-1153013?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07CB98837&pd_rd_r=a8bbbfd6-60fa-45be-b684-9f8f3ac74b96&pd_rd_w=EZ1y1&pd_rd_wg=4NHr9&pf_rd_p=4ebef4a1-dd04-4d00-b442-cfa31968b6de&pf_rd_r=0DEN18FFZSYDZNM0206D&psc=1&refRID=0DEN18FFZSYDZNM0206D

Thank you so much for your help.
