Yes wash. Hamotzie
Why would you wash on egg masza isn’t it pat haba bkisnim. It fits two of the categories it’s thin like a cracker and has something kneaded into the dough.
In short, it’s being eating for a meal and is no different than regular Matzah. It requires washing and Hamotzi.
I’ll try to share more when I have a minute.
Wouldn’t it be like eating egg challah during the year. Unless you eat shiur koveiah seudah it would be mezonot. Also I don’t make moszei on crunchy maszah unless I’m eating shiur koveiah seudah because it is pat haba bkisnim since it is thin and crunchy like a cracker.
Egg challah is hamotzi as well. It’s not pas haba bikisnin.
Are you saying you’d eat egg challah or egg Matzah as a dessert after you ate your meal?
What sefer is this from?

It’s an interesting take, in that it brings da’at of the eater involved, while S"A atleast as far as shiur koveiah seudah is involved individuals da’at is meaningless as this is shiur whether you are satiated or not. But this explains how you hold and why, I am pretty straight S"A guy so if it fits into one of the categories it is mezonot. But thank you for taking the time to show me this and explaining. Have an amazing Pesah and hag kasher w’sameah.
