I have an electric deep fryer that is used all year round including chametz frying outdoors in my backyard during the year. Normally i would clean it before hand and store away for passover. This year, i completely forgot about it and today when i was in tge backyard with the kids i realize it was out and i did not put it away. Worse is that there is oil still in it (along with rain water amd some dirt). The last time my wife used was about a week ago and she fried potatos, with oil thay was kosher for passover. She usually lets oil cool down before she get rid of it. This year she forgot about it as did I. What should i do? The oil we threw down the sewer. What should i do with the electric deep fryer?
You can put it away now like you would any pots you didn’t kasher for pesach and won’t be using. You don’t want anyone using it.
