I’d like to be able to step in my house for whatever!
Just because I sold all the chametz in the house to the goy, am I now barred from use of my house??

You are selling the chametz in your house not your actual house. Nonetheless, you must make sure if you plan on using your house during the holiday that the chametz is put away and locked up. You cannot have it lying around the house. This only applies to actual chametz. Dishes and kitniyot are fine.
