Baruch Hashem, I am happy to announce I am growing my finger nails for the first time in about 60 years!
When I get some jagged edges or trying to smooth out a very rough ex-chewed nail, I use a nail file.
It creates what I like to call “nail powder”. Some of you may be familiar.
Do I have to dispose of it as if it was a cut nail?
It took some years, but way back when the Rabbi noticed he explained it is not( paraphrasing) at all difficult to stop the habit. “Just stop it” was all I had to do.
