Hi! Can I turn on my gas stove on yom tov if I use an existing flame?
What is the correct procedure?
Would I turn the knob till I hear clicking and then bring the existing flame to ignite?

Yes you may turn on from an existing flame.
Nevertheless the optimal way would not be the way you describe, rather - turn on the knob quickly past the clicking and then ignite with the existing flame.
