I almost always daven at HaHanetz (sometimes at home and sometimes in Shul). And since sunrise is specific point in time (like a snapshot) while the Amidah is a 5 plus minute chat with HaShem (like a video clip), I would like to know when to start the Amidah and I have thought of 3 possibilities.
- Exact sunrise moment can be anywhere during the course of Amidah (the Shul starts the Amidah about 2 minutes before sunrise).
- At the point of sunrise, the name HaShem is uttered in the Pasuk “ה’ שפתי תפתח ופי יגיד תהילתך”.
- At the point of sunrise, the word Baruch is uttered in open blessing of מגן אברהם.
Is one of the three (or any one of the three) correct or does the Rav have a different opinion than the three above?
Thank you
