Haircut during Sefira for dating

Hi,

I am wondering if it is permissible to get a trim for a date during sefirat haomer

(If the law is different for women / men ?)

(If the law is different if you “keep” one half of sefira)

1). Dating is not a permissible reason. The Rav has always said that a girl that doesn’t appreciate a boy who upkeeps the Halacha and doesn’t shave on sefira may just not be the right girl.

  1. Women may take haircuts during sefira.

  2. I am not sure what this question means. A person only needs to keep either the first half or the back half.
