Handwashing for bread

Shalom Rav,

I know that there are many laws about properly washing hands before a bread meal. For example needing to completely dry hands, holding hands upright etc. Am I wrong in assuming that those laws apply only when one is using the minimum amount of water required to wash hands, and that nowadays since most people use more than 3 times the required amount and wash each hand twice, that in those instances the laws would not apply?

Thanks!

The law of washing each hand twice is only required when using 1 revi’it. If you use two or three times the amount, this isn’t required. The other laws still apply

You say 2 or 3 times. But if you only have 2 revias and you use more than one rivias on the right hand…your left hand does not get a revias and that one would have to be held upright …So isnt it better to have at least an amount that leaves over at least a revias for the left hand
