hi here are the ingredients: soybean oil, water, whole eggs and egg yolks, vinegar, sugar, salt, lemon juice concentrate, calcium disodium edta(used to protect quality) natural flavors. and it says gluten free.

on pesach list hellman’s real mayo is listed kosher for all. why the change to kosher for sephardim?

Good point. When making the list we put extra effort into the research to try to confirm the volumes of the various ingredients to determine that the kitniyos is batel in the non-Kitniyos.
When we answer questions on the fly, if we aren’t sure, we just write only for Sephardim, unless we are challenged.
You are correct. I double checked the list and it is there. And it is kosher for Pesach for all.

Hi, are Ashkenazim allowed soybean oil? That’s the first ingredient in Hellman’s Mayo and I always thought that it was a no-no. Thanks!
The Rav holds that oil made from kitnyos is not a problem of kitnyos.
Is this still good for 2024? the ingredients now say distilled vinegar
