There are so many instant foods available today. Are these allowed on Shabbat? Last year you explained that instant oatmeal was precooked, and therefore allowed. Would this also apply to instant noodle soups where hot water is added. Can the hot water be added directly to the soup mix in the original plastic container, or does the water need to be placed in a bowl and then the mix added to the hot water?
It can be added directly if the food was already cooked once. That is usually the case, but not 100% of the time. So you need to verify that or use second bowl
