Iruy kil rishon and non-kosher countertop

I share a kitchen stove with gentile flatmates. I was told that this is not a problem as long as my kosher utensils and vessels are kept securely. The only concern is that the stove counter and counter top are not kosher from possible spillage of non-kosher food or grease. In any case, I clean the counters and stovetop before cooking my food.

Question: While frying sausages, I dropped my spatula that had hot grease on it, onto the stovetop counter. Given that transfer occurs in the presence of heat above yad soledet bo and a liquid/grease medium, is my spatula still kosher?

what material is the countertop?

Metal. The counter top was clean when I used it Also, Iā€™m Sephardic, if it makes any difference.

Yes your spatula is still Kosher

Is it because you are assuming the counter is איני בן ימי
