I checked my crock pots and they are glazed all the way around except for a small strip on the underside where the pot would rest on the counter or table, presumably to prevent slipping. Does it still have the “like glass” designation?
In reply to your specific question of a crock pot it would still keep its glass status regarding the absorption of foods.
