Kashering Meat and Dairy Pots Together Immediately After Using Them

Before Passover it is often necessary to kasher pots to remove leavened grains.

Is it permitted to kasher meat and dairy pots together if both were just used to cook meat and dairy? Perhaps this is permitted because the absorbed meat and milk flavours came into the pots in a permitted fashion so the kashering water will have the status of נותן טעם בר נותן טעם דהתירא and will therefore be deemed parve?

Your math is correct.

This assumes that we are still before the time of ביעור חמץ and that the pots themselves were Kosher. Meaning, no meat got into the dairy and vice versa - before Kashering.
