Koshering a dirty oven

I’m currently traveling and need to use the oven at the place I’m staying, but it’s very dirty. I’ve been able to clean some of the residue off of it, but can’t get it all and the oven does not have a self cleaning mode or anything similar. Does this pose a problem when koshering it?

Thank you!

I am sure the soil is unfit for consumption, nevertheless you can use a foul tasting cleaning agent just in case which will surely render it inedible. When kashering whatever is left will be burnt and not be a problem.
Alternatively you can cover the food that you are cooking and do not need to kosherize the oven.
