Koshering on Chol hamoed

I bought blintzes and thought they were kosher for Passover. I heated them in microwave and then sauteed them in a pan. Thank god before I ate it my husband realized they weren’t kosher for Passover. Can I re kosher the microwave? Can I re kosher the pot? And do I need to burn the blintzes?

Get rid of the blintzes. Doesn’t have to be burned.

You can Kosher the microwave.

The pan needs Libun.

I just want to add you can make the blessing “על ביעור חמץ”

(Assuming this was actual Chametz)

hi! Does this mean that we can go to a hotel and kasher the already clean oven/stove/microwave on chol hamoed, or is this answer only applied to situations of “after the fact” that a mistake like this happened?

It depends for what. Hagalah is not allowed on Pesach. Libun is. A microwave has it’s own math and can be Koshered.

In all cases it’s forbidden to possess any Chametz so care must be taken to make sure you don’t own any Chametz - or even handle Chametz once Pesach begins.

Can I put the blintzes with my sold chametz or that’s not allowed?

Too late for that.
