I assume you mean cheese made with vegetarian rennet. No, it is the opinion of Rav Yitzchak Abadi that cheeses are not kosher even if made with vegetarian rennet unless they have the proper kosher supervision.

Your “year round kosher 2020”list has a large number of cheeses on it. Non of them have an hechsher.
In light of your answer that ALL CHEESE requires supervision there is now confusion. Please explain the different rulings.

We do not have a “year round kosher” list. Cheese requires proper supervision to be kosher. Even cheeses made with kosher ingredients still needs proper supervision or the cheese is not kosher.

there is still a list on this site

Not on this site.

So in the past some soft cheeses like cream, goat and mozzarella were cleared on the old site! This is no longer the position of the Rav?

Correct. Soft cheeses are just like hard cheeses.

How does the rav define what cheese is. If someone creates a product, and calls it cheese it doesn’t make it cheese. Looking at the ingredients for cream cheese, it doesn’t appear to be anything more than a dairy spread, and could then be more like a yogurt product, rather than a cheese product. If cheese always requires reliable supervision, how do we determine what type of product is truly cheese.

Would a non-dairy vegan cheese substitute require supervision, or does the psak only apply to what would be considered a regular cheese product.

Cheese in halacha is defined as the process of adding an enzyme (such as rennet) to milk and causing it to curdle. Anything that fits that process requires supervision.
