Mezuzah on RV/Motorhome

Slalom Rav,

I was wondering if a movable home such as a motorhome or travel trailer needs a mezuzah. Would it make a difference if the person intends to keep it there a certain amount of time? Would it make a difference if the person didn’t own the property (a campsite)?

Generally speaking, it is similar to a boat which is patur from a mezuzah, but if you park it and live in for an extended amount of time, it may require a mezuzah.
