I believe Rav Abadi holds that putting a nylon or plastic netting under/over schach to keep out bees is muttar. Am I correct?

Incorrect. The screen needs to allow more sunlight that shade.

I reworded my reply above to be clearer.
Basically, if the screen itself blocks the sun more than it allows light to come through it would be a problem.
