If I had a dairy colander in the sink and poured boiling water from a dairy pot into the colander, is the colander considered a kli sheini or not because of the holes?
I want to understand so I know if I have a meat fork at the bottom of the sink in such a scenario if the meat fork would need hagala.

If the pot wasn’t used for dairy in the last 24 hours then the fork is fine. If dairy was cooked in this pot within 24 hours prior to being poured into the sink, Ashkenazim should kasher the fork and Sephardim don’t need to kasher the fork.
