Dear rabbis,
Would it be an issue of lo titgodedu if one does nefilat apayim (as per the Shulhan Aruh) in a bet kneset (mizrahi) where this is not done? I recall reading a teshuva by Haham Ovadia where he states that waving lulav in the directions as stated in the Shulhan Aruh in a bet kneset where they follow the Ari’s instructions is not lo titgodedu. Why would nefilat apayim be any different? Or is it?
