Nicorette Mini Nicotine Lozenge — Mint 4mg — Kosher for Passover?

Shalom! Is the following product permissible for Pesach?

Brand: Nicorette (Haleon)

Product: Mini Nicotine Lozenge, 4mg — Mint flavor

UPC: 307667880779

Full official ingredient list: See What's Inside: Nicorette and NicoDerm CQ Ingredients

Active: Nicotine polacrilex 4mg

Inactive: Acesulfame potassium, calcium polycarbophil, flavors, magnesium stearate, mannitol, potassium bicarbonate, sodium alginate, sodium carbonate, xanthan gum

Note: Star-K has confirmed this product (Mint flavor) is kosher year-round, but has not published a specific Pesach approval.

My concerns for Pesach are:

  1. Mannitol — typically derived from corn, making it a kitniyot derivative
    1. Xanthan gum — fermented on corn or wheat (chametz), and extracted using alcohol that could also be grain-derived — potentially a chametz concern
      1. Flavors — source unknown; natural mint flavors are sometimes extracted using grain alcohol
        1. Nicotine extraction — nicotine is sometimes extracted from tobacco using grain-derived ethanol, which could be a chametz concern
          1. Are there any other concerns I may have missed?
        2. This is a dissolvable lozenge used as nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to quit smoking. If this product is not permitted, is there any NRT product (lozenge, pouch, or gum) that would be acceptable for Pesach?
      2. Thank you!
