Just confirming we are allowed to use opened products on passover? Even if we use to cook with over a pot?
the only scenario that I could see a problem would be if you’re using salt and sprinkling it on a pot with schnitzel cooking. And then the schnitzel kicks up some of itself onto the salt. If that happens, I would hope you throw that salt out.
In normal circumstances, this is not an issue. Yes, you can use open products.
Another scenario might be a jar of peanut butter, where people spread the peanut butter on bread and then put crumbs of that bread back into the jar. That would pose an issue if there’s a significant enough amount.
Everyone knows there own kitchen. Normal items don’t pose a problem

What about a jar of tamarind syrup or duck sauce? If I put a spoon into it it’s always completely clean and cold obviously. Is it considered contaminated? Or ca we use it on pesach?
