This may be an issue for Pesach.
Just saw this in gourmet glat in Lakewood - kosher for Passover with the same yeast extract.

Yeast Extract is not always from wheat, although it often is- so the OU did the work for you on this one. 
So you think that’s the case for other osem flavors such as onion and mushroom as well? The only ingredient of concern is that yeast extract - nothing else - and the same flavors also come in kfp approvals. My question is if I need to buy ones that specifically say KFP - even tho they also have yeast extract. Thank you.
Yeast extract is a problem when you don’t know for sure what’s its from.
It could be in one product and be ok and in another and Not be ok.
So you have no choice but to look for the supervision. The only other option is to call the company and determine what they derive it from.
