with a bracha?

Just wondering because any pasta coming out of this would still need to be cooked.

With a bracha. Still requiring cooking doesn’t change anything. All metal or glass utensils that touch food, even raw food that requires preparation, need tvilah with a bracha.

What kind of metal is this device made from?

This heavy duty machine has a chrome plated steel body. The rollers and cutters are made of long lasting anodized aluminum. The anodized aluminum is a wellness innovation; rollers and cutters grab the dough better and because they are free from heavy metals, such as chromium and nickel, you get healthier results. Gears are case-hardened tempered steel.

Does aluminum need tevillah? Sorry im pressing, it’s just that the instructions warn very strongly about not getting this wet, due to rust which effects the gears too.

An item made entirely from aluminum does not need tvilah. This paste machine however, is made from other metals as well and therefore requires tvilah.

You are correct. I made a mistake. This machine does not require tevilah. My apologies.
