Peels and garbage

  1. If peels goes flying and land on floor or counter while I’m prepping vegetables on Shabbos can I pick up with hand and put in the garbage ?
  2. If I see random dust / hair/ specks on floor on Shabbos can I pick them up and throw out with my hand ?

  1. Peels are not muktzeh, they are edible so no problem.
  2. You can sweep them with a broom into a dustpan and empty it into the garbage
