Reese artichoke hearts

Are these okay to use year round and Pesach?

Thank you

There are generally bug issues with artichoke. I don’t know if this particular brand has some kind of effective cleaning method.

Hi. I contacted the company to ask about their cleaning method. Below is their reply. I’m not sure if it means anything.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for contacting World Finer Foods about our Reese Artichokes. I am so sorry to hear of this incident, and will be passing your comments on to our Quality Assurance team for review. Please advise where you heard this, and send me the information from your jar.

As far as the cleaning process, they do keep strict measures in place. I have been doing this position for 12 years and I have never had any issues or complaints about bugs.

I look forward to your reply.

Artichokes are known to have bug infestation issues. I don’t really know much more than that. Their answer isn’t helpful.

There seems to be some kind of Hechsher or there that I don’t recognize (from Peru?). Maybe they would know.
