Reminder to make an Eruv Tavshilin today in order to be able to cook food on Friday-Yom Tov for Shabbat.

(We never say Shehechiyanu by candles. Women say Amen by Shehechiyanu by Kiddush.)

Are women never supposed to make a Shehechiyanu when lighting candles on a chag? If so, why is it included with the yom tov bracha?

They should never say Shehecheyanu by candle lighting except Yom Kippur if they’re not going to be by Kol Nidrei.
