It is allowed for finish sewing a new dress that was started before chag?
It is needed for immediately after chag, with not time to finish it after the chag.
This is problematic. The only thing to work with is “Davar Ha’Aved” - something that will cause you financial loss. There are some conditions and I don’t know if this qualifies.
Can you provide more details? What happens if you don’t sew on Chol Hamoed? What was the original plan? etc.
I would have to buy something else or change an existing dress, which will either way cost an additional amount.
Not sure if this will be relevant as well, but the dress I’m sewing is to accommodate breastfeeding, which I will not have with the other two options.
