What is the Rav’s opinion in regards to trying to get 2 meals in befor issur chametz w/ a hefsek? Me personally, I don’t want to do it. I rather just have a piece of meat or fish after mincha? Is that ok that I am doing that?
The Rav does not like that people take a short break and walk around the block during their meal in order to be able to eat a second meal. The Rav recommends people eat one meal normally in the morning and then eat a second meal later in the day with Matzah Ashira (e.g. kosher for pesach egg matzah). The Rav holds even ashkenazim can eat Matzah Ashira on erev pesach.
Can items with Matza meal be eaten erev pesach (ashkenazim)? I make rolls made of Matza meal (plus eggs, oil, sugar, salt) that are hamotzi, would it be ok to eat that on shabbos afternoon?
