Is Shmurah Matzah really required at the seder or can we use regular kosher l’pesach matzah?

Machine is fine. Might be better than handmade. It comes out exactly the same each time.

Is it worthwhile to be machmir and eat only shmurah matzah the entire Pesach?

I’m not sure what exists out there as far as no-shmurah options goes.

For the last several hundred years (maybe longer), wheat is soaked before it’s ground which is a problem. Anything certified Kosher for Passover is probably Shmurah. Maybe not Shmurah Misha’at Kitzirah…
